Jessica has a son with her ex who’s in jail. He’s been contacting Jessica in every way possible trying to get her to agree to let him see his son. She has friends who’s kids are mad at them because they weren’t allowed to get to know their dads and she doesn’t want her son to eventually feel that way. But, at the same time, she’s thinks she’s protecting her son from the psychological damage it would do if her ex DOES come back into her son’s life.
